TIME FOR CHANGE…I love happy endings!!

Hi there

So much is changing and time is running so fast….so much seems to fit into one month these days!!

Dave is right now having an absolute blast touring the great USA with our dear friend John Crowder, whilst I am at home enjoying the welsh sunshine and busy with the family.

Life is rich and the Gospel is shining brighter than ever for us.
We literally stand amazed at how truth is unfolding so delicately on the inside of us…He is so gentle yet so strong!

As I reflect and ponder what He is doing in our midst I am overwhelmed. I think to live overwhelmed at His graciousness is the perfect life. Just last week I randomly met the man who first ministered the life of God to me over twenty years ago. For him that night was probably just another Sunday evening, but for me it was a matter of life and death. When my eyes met his in Morrisons over our trolleys last week, I was filled with such gratitude that I was pretty speechless! Does he even have any idea how my life was changed?

Toby sat in the trolley and we chatted casually about the family, but my heart was in awe, would Toby even have been born if he hadn’t faithfully preached the gospel each week, morning and evening at that Baptist chapel in the small village of Gorseinon.

…’last hope’ encounters

Following our last Eden gathering in Newport, we received an email from a young woman who spoke of how she was planning on killing herself that very weekend but had come along as a last hope.

I’m so glad Jesus our Saviour is an expert in these ‘last hope’ encounters! This is so like my story, she described how God turned it all around for her and how she has been changed forever. We had so many of you wanting to share your own stories that last evening together, it was precious, we didn’t have time for you all that night, but over time we would love to hear all your stories. It is amazing to hear your story. I will share mine one of these days! LOL

That weekend was another special time, it was great to have Georgian Banov with us, but the sense of family and unity far outweighs any one particular speaker! Thank God times have changed and that we as His people are enjoying each other and not putting the ‘mouth’ pieces above any other part of His wonderful body! We are all connected and unified in Christ.

This message of us being in Christ before the foundation of the world is dissolving those hostile barriers we have lived with for so long. We are all in this together and we are discovering that even those who are not in the church as yet are in Him also. This is the Good News we treasure. We are all His offspring and we are all in the same boat.

The boat is owned and possessed by God Himself, and He has not abandoned any one of us. The right of ownership in the Bible is a clear revelation of His Sovereignty. He is still in control of this earth. He is the Creator and He has redeemed His creation. He is our kinsman redeemer, this very fact reveals how we originally belong in His family, literally bone of his bone, breath of His breath, same image, same DNA, real legitimate children of God. He is restoring the glory of that fact, and we are beginning to realise who we really are. The fall of man no longer defines who we are. We are not sinners saved by grace only, we go back further than that, we were in Him before the foundation of the world. Our identity is being revealed afresh, we began in God and we will end in God.

…I love happy endings

A glorious truth is shining ever brighter before my eyes everyday now and that is this:
God is all in all, and one day the full manifestation of this reality will be seen by all.

‘But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits: afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
For He must reign, till He has put all enemies under His feet.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For He has put all things under His feet…
And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.’
1 Corinth 15:20-28

Wow what a God, what a salvation, what a plan, what a gloriously happy ending…I love happy endings, who doesn’t. There is something so wonderful about believing in a happy ending! God, our Father, the Creator of all things owns it all and as rightful owner of all things redeems back His own. He fully paid the penalty for whatever happens on His land. This earth is His land, we were loaned authority and dominion to rule and reign with Him but messed up and handed over this authority to an enemy.

Where men messed up, God pierced the heart of the mess by becoming Himself a man, just like us, to restore us back to being just like Him, our original make-up. We are made new, new creation began at His birth and fully manifested at the cross. He humbled Himself and became like us. At the resurrection He was fully being Himself again having taking into Himself all that we were in our fallen state and He reversed it and redeemed us back into His glorious image. We are His authentic brothers and sisters, risen from the dead.

…Salvation is a fact not an offer!

It is so liberating to realise that salvation is a fact. We have been saved. No matter what you may see in the natural, the Gospel is the Good News about what God has successfully done for all of creation in and through Christ.
Any fight you may encounter as a christian should be the fight of faith. Until we realise this we still live in the bondage of the inferior lie that we are alone in this world, struggling to make an existence, fighting against the odds, which keep mounting up. Sin still dominates us and we are tossed here and there by circumstances and trials and peace and hope avails us. We live stressed out, diseased, weighed down by the lie that no-one cares and life is hard. Then truth says to you that the way of the transgressor is hard…His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

…fight the fight of faith, nothing else!

What is faith?
Faith is the awareness of the presence of God. See Heb 11:1 In His Presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forever more. What can bring about this awareness, this fact of salvation, the substance of things hoped for, this joy unspeakable and full of glory, the evidence of things not seen?

Oh how I love His Presence, my daily bread is to eat of Him, to live in Him, to be aware that I am in Him and He is in me, nothing comes close to this daily meal. All around fades in importance to living in His presence. There is no separation, no matter how busy you are, no matter how much you doubt yourself. Christ lives in you.

Faith is a gift from God, when we realise the faith God has always had in humanity, faith is born in our own heart. When He first created us He looked at us and was well pleased. His mind was made up…He never stopped believing in us. We are made in His image. We are His family. We look like Him. Even when we were dead in our sins, distorted and perverted beyond recognition He still knew us, knew our real identity. We were without hope, blind to who we were and who He was, still He loved us and was planning on a way to get us back into His family unit. We love because He first loved us.

This faith is an understanding that there is now no separation between us and God. All our sins are forgiven and removed and we have been marinated in His love and presence all this time, we just didn’t know. The incarnation, God becoming one of us, was our Father, our Maker, ensuring that He would win back His own at any price, and He paid the most extreme full price. The price has been paid, the debt we owed has been cancelled, and so has the debt of the whole world. That is Great News! Fact!! LOL The bells are ringing in Heaven over us, there is a joyful celebration going on 24/7 right now over humanity because of the success of what Christ did.

…the Gospel is a 24/7 jubilee noise

Jubilee is when all debt is cancelled in the old testament. All slaves made free. It means loud, joyful noise.

We celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee next week in the UK…what a great sign of the Gospel…the debt has been paid, the war is over, slavery to the power of sin is abolished and the fatted calf has been prepared. Our dignity has been restored, he has lifted up our heads! All that is left to do is to enjoy and be blessed, a bright sign to those still yet to see!

I really believe this is a year of GREAT CHANGE….the language of the Gospel is a pure one. One that we were born to understand and revel in. As the purity is restored so will the inevitable response in the hearts of His people on earth. There is coming a great harvest on earth, there is an order to things as we have read from these verse in Corinthians, Christ first, then us, those who know who we are, then….then….then the rest of humanity. We are the firstfruits of the lump. If we are holy so is the lump (the rest of mankind).

There is a sense that things are lining up on a cosmic level. Planets are lining up. Scientists have their theories surrounding December 22nd this year, but the fact of the matter is that there is another sign in the heavens of what He is doing. Revelation of the Gospel is being straightened out and as a result our lives are going from glory to glory.

It’s the knowledge of the Glory that will fill the whole earth as the waters covers the sea. The reality of His presence is here. His Holy Spirit is among us, the Holy Spirit and fire has come to stay. It’s the knowledge of the image of God on the inside of us that is being unwrapped which is bringing about the manifestation of His Glory. All of creation are crying out for the manifestation of the sons of God.

We are His firstfruits. There is an order and a timing with the things of God that I have learned to appreciate. It is a finished work and the manifestation of it, the unfolding of this fullness for all of humanity is in our midst. What treasure we have been trusted with. We have an understanding that brings hope and peace to our hearts in the midst of chaos and turmoil. May your hope explode with hilarious joy as you see afresh the end from the beginning, the beginning from the end. God is all in all. The End. This world needs the hope of the Gospel, this Good News is the hope for the nations.

1 John 5:20
‘And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life!

Acts 17:24-28
‘The God who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines.
Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all people.
And He made from one [common origin, one source, one blood] all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth…
So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.
For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your own poets have said: For we are all His offspring.’

THE END. Let’s drink to the happy end that is in Him.

He came to bring us an understanding of these things!
